About Us
La Lola is a husband & wife team. Miguel is from Madrid and Vanessa is half-Spanish half-Canadian. They moved to Cambridge, Ontario from Madrid, Spain with their two children in 2019. Miguel is a Spanish trained chef with great culinary skills, and Vanessa a businesswoman at heart. Together they are bringing the best authentic Spanish food to the Waterloo region.
Since opening in September 2019, they´ve been busy catering delicious paella parties for family and friends, and hosting wonderful clients in their Tapas Bar /Tienda (store), sharing creative cuisine and authentic imported Spanish wines, cheeses, charcutería and other amazing products!

Our muse is the amazing Lola Flores! A Spanish cultural icon that embodies the passion and Arte(artistic flare) of Spain. We admire this humble and hard working larger-than-life icon, she is a constant source of inspiration.
